Lavender & The Butterfly Nation
Lavender, a shy young dancer, stumbles into a hidden realm of butterfly people and discovers the courage to lead a rebellion against a ruthless wasp general. A cinematic blend of fantasy, science fiction, and moral storytelling, the film inspires children and adults alike with its themes of inclusion, transformation, and kindness.
Based on the book Lavender & Butterflies by Mandy Fason.
Made through a human-directed hybrid pipeline: ballet performance captured in motion, then carried into animation with generative AI and traditional craft.
